It’s nearly time for the annual Taco de Mayo Invitational fundraiser for the Red Deer Food Bank! This is a fun evening of antics and south-of-the-border food as the Rotary Club of Red Deer East raises funds for the Food Bank.
Community Food Drive
The Red Deer Food Bank Community Food Drive & Open House is happening April 25, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in partnership with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Home Church. Watch for your yellow donation bag, fill it with non-perishable food items, and leave it on your doorstep for pickup—it’s the easiest way to give back. You can also visit us in person to take part in self-guided tours available all day, explore our Food Hub, Kitchen 49, Garden 49, and new event space, shop fresh produce, sign up to volunteer, and enjoy some great food with the smoker going on site. Every donation supports local families in need, and with a goal of 30,000 pounds of food in one day, we need the whole community to make it happen.
Coldest Night of the Year
The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 28, 2026 - across the country, close to home!
