In 2025, we supported 30,500 people, the highest demand in over 40 years.
Behind every emergency food pickup is a neighbor, a child, a senior making impossible choices.
The Community Table
Monthly Giving Program
Pull Up a Chair at The Table and Help End Hunger in Our Community
Join a community of neighbors who believe no one in Central Alberta should have to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table.
Your monthly gift to The Community Table provides steady, reliable food support for families year round.
Choose an amount that works for you each month and help ensure everyone in our community has access to the food they need, today, tomorrow, and all year long.
What Is The Community Table?
The Community Table is Red Deer Food Bank’s community of monthly givers. A group of people who believe that everyone deserves access to food, dignity, and connection.
Right now, 1 in 4 people in our community are facing food insecurity, and 40% of them are children. That means more parents are skipping meals, more seniors are stretching prescriptions and groceries, and more kids are going to school hungry.
Our emergency Food Hub, food recovery programs, and community food security initiatives only work when we can count on having food on our shelves and fuel in our trucks.
One‑time gifts make a difference, but monthly gifts through The Community Table allow us to:
Plan ahead so no family is turned away when they need help today
Keep our food recovery routes running efficiently across Central Alberta
Support community food programs that reduce waste and increase access over the long term
When you join The Community Table, you’re saying:
“In our community, no one eats last.”
Your consistent support means that when someone reaches out in a moment of crisis, Red Deer Food Bank can respond with dignity, respect, and kindness, every single time.
“Knowing The Community Table is there each month means I don’t have to skip meals so my kids can eat. It feels like our community is standing with us.”
“On a tough day in the middle of a prolonged job search the Red Deer Food Bank made my day!”

Join The 10,000 Club
10,000 people $5/month = A hunger-free Central Alberta.
Central Alberta has a population of 300,000 people.
If 10,000 of those people gave just $5 a month, no one in our community would go to bed hungry.
That’s the power of community.
The 10,000 Club is a movement of ordinary people choosing to make an extraordinary difference, one small monthly gift at a time.
Because when thousands of people show up together, meals reach families, shelves stay stocked, and hope keeps growing.
Your $5 may seem small, but together, we can make a big change in the lives of our neighbours.
One Time Donation
You Can Put Food on Someone's Table Today
Right now, a family in our community is making impossible choices. A parent skipping meals so their children can eat. A senior stretching groceries as far as they can. A neighbor wondering how they'll make it through the week.
You may never meet the person your donation helps. But your generosity will be there when it matters most. In a family's kitchen as they prepare a meal together. In the relief of opening a fridge that isn't empty. In the comfort of knowing that someone in their community cared enough to help.
Every gift provides food, support, and hope for people across Central Alberta.
Today, you can make that difference.
