Food Donation Drop-Off Locations
Non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at participating grocery store donation bins, including:

Smaller donations can be brought into the admin office of the Red Deer Food Bank Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

How to Host a Food Drive
Food drives can be as simple or as creative as you want. You can collect food at your workplace, school, church, business, team event, or neighbourhood gathering.
Step 1: Choose Your Location
Pick where you want to collect food, your office, school, church, store, community hall, sports team, or neighbourhood.
Step 2: Pick Your Dates
Choose a start and end date. Food drives can run for one day, one week, or even a full month.
Step 3: Set Up a Collection Area
Use boxes, bins, or bags and clearly label them for Red Deer Food Bank donations, o
Step 4: Share the Most Needed Items
Let people know what items are most helpful so donations match current needs.
Step 5: Promote Your Food Drive
Share it through email, posters, social media, newsletters, staff meetings, or community groups.
Step 6: Deliver Your Donations
When your food drive is complete, contact the Red Deer Food Bank to confirm the best drop-off option.
