Taco de Mayo is a vibrant, Mexican themed fundraising event hosted by the Rotary Club of Red Deer East in support of the Red Deer Food Bank. This annual “kitchen party” style celebration brings the community together for an evening filled with great food, entertainment, and giving back.

Guests can enjoy a lively atmosphere featuring a taco buffet prepared by the Red Deer Food Bank’s culinary team, along with festive favourites like chips & salsa, margaritas, and music.

The evening will include dancing, games, and interactive fundraising activities such as silent and live auctions, raffles, and themed experiences, all designed to create a fun and engaging night while supporting an important cause.

This event has quickly become a favourite in Red Deer, combining the spirit of a traditional kitchen party with the flavours and energy of a Mexican fiesta. Proceeds from the event directly support programs at the Red Deer Food Bank, including emergency food hampers for individuals and families in need.
