Hunger Doesn't Take a Summer Vacation

While summer is a time for vacations, barbecues, and family adventures, it can be one of the hardest seasons for many families.

Food donations typically slow down during the summer months, but the need for food never does.

Today:

  • 1 in 4 Albertans experience food insecurity.

  • 40% of the people we serve are children.

  • Every week, families, seniors, workers, and individuals across Central Alberta rely on the Red Deer Food Bank for help putting food on the table.
