Food insecurity continues to affect thousands of people in our community. Right now, 1 in 4 people are experiencing food insecurity, and 40% of them are children.

Summer can be especially challenging. While food bank donations often decrease during the summer months, the need for support remains high. Families still need groceries, children still need nutritious meals, and seniors and individuals continue to rely on the Red Deer Food Bank for assistance.
